Amplifying Western lacrosse talent โ tournaments, high school games, and recruiting coverage across 8 states.
Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing sports in America โ but for too long, the spotlight has stayed fixed on the East Coast. The talent, passion, and community that have been quietly building across the West deserve to be seen.
"Lacrosse the West exists to elevate, amplify, and grow the game of lacrosse across the American West โ bringing visibility to the athletes, coaches, and communities who are defining the next chapter of the sport."
We travel the region year-round โ attending tournaments, high school games, showcases, and club events โ to tell the stories that national outlets miss. We believe the West isn't catching up. It's leading.
Lacrosse the West is proudly funded by a consortium of lacrosse organizations committed to growing the game beyond its traditional strongholds. Together, we are investing in the infrastructure, visibility, and community needed to make the American West a force in lacrosse at every level.
Six pillars guide everything we do โ from the fields we visit to the stories we tell.
Provide consistent, high-quality coverage of Western lacrosse โ tournaments, showcases, and regular-season games โ bringing national attention to the region's best players and programs.
Partner with youth programs, high school associations, and club organizations to support recruitment, development, and participation at all levels across the West.
Identify and feature standout athletes who deserve college recruiting attention โ regardless of whether their school is in a traditional lacrosse hotbed.
Connect players, coaches, parents, and fans across the West into a unified community that celebrates the sport and supports each other's growth and success.
Work to close the information gap between Western talent and college programs nationwide โ creating pathways for student-athletes who might otherwise be overlooked.
Recognize top programs, coaches, and players through annual awards, rankings, and features that establish a Western lacrosse identity the rest of the country respects.
From the high plains of Nevada to the green fields of the Pacific Northwest โ if lacrosse is being played out West, we want to be there covering it.

These coaches deserve recognition. Their programs deserve resources. And the kids they're reaching deserve to know that lacrosse is for them too.
Lacrosse the West is made possible by organizations that believe in growing the game โ from the grassroots up. We're grateful for the partners who have already stepped up, and we're building room for more.
